Man charged with DWI, bribery after crash involving police vehicle in East Hills

Chi Hung Leung, 50, was driving on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 38 when he crashed into a highway patrol officer.

A Brooklyn man was arrested for driving while intoxicated in East Hills Monday morning.
Chi Hung Leung, 50, was driving on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 38 when he crashed into a highway patrol officer, Nassau police say.
He tried to flee in his vehicle and then on foot, before being apprehended.
Police tell News 12 Hung Leung also tried to bribe several officers to release him.
The officer in the vehicle that was struck was taken to the hospital for treatment.
