Police say a man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the stabbing of an 85-year-old woman in Bed-Stuy.

Jackson King, 22, is accused of killing Julia Boomer inside her 638 Throop Ave. apartment. King shares the same address as Boomer, and police sources say they are relatives.

Sources previously told News 12 that the person of interest taken in for questioning was Boomer’s 22-year-old grandson, who was being evaluated at a hospital.

Officers discovered Boomer just before 10 p.m. Tuesday with multiple stab and slash wounds, lying on her back on the living room floor, according to authorities.

EMS rushed the 85-year-old to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she died less than an hour later.

Police say King is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
