The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who displayed a knife to an MTA bus driver in Norwood in May.

Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. on May 15 near Webster Avenue and East Gun Hill Road, where an unidentified man displayed a knife at a 43‑year‑old female MTA bus driver while exiting a BX41 bus.

The man fled in an unknown direction, and no injuries were reported.

The individual is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 35 to 45 years old, with a medium build and a tattoo of letters on his left hand.

He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, black jacket, dark blue jeans, black shoes, and a gray baseball hat with the letter “W” on the front.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1‑800‑577‑TIPS.
