Police are searching for the driver they say struck a man in Sunset Park just after midnight Monday.
Investigators tell News 12 it happened just after 12:30 a.m.
They say someone called 911 to report a hit-and-run at the intersection of 52 Street and Third Avenue.
Arriving officers say they found a man lying on the ground bleeding profusely. However, what they did not find was a driver or car.
The man was rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
