A man is in stable condition after being shot in Soundview Thursday night, according to police.
The NYPD says the shooting happened around 8:25 p.m. near Randall Avenue and Rosedale Avenue, outside the Soundview Houses.
Police say the man was shot in the arm and taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
Dozens of officers responded to the scene as investigators worked to determine what led to the shooting.
No arrests have been announced. The investigation is ongoing.
