An Orange County man has pleaded guilty to child sex abuse in Rockland County.

James Valentine, of Cornwall, entered his plea in County Court on Monday, according to the county district attorney.

Authorities say Valentine, 58, sexually abused a male child from ages 8 to 12 at his former residence in Valley Cottage.

The abuse occurred during the years 2011-2016.

Valentine is expected to receive 10 years in prison, when he is sentenced in July.

He will also receive five years of post release supervision.
