An Albany man was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years to life in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend in Coram.
Kason Parker pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges on the first day of his trial for fatally stabbing Meghan Kiefer.

Authorities said the 27-year-old victim was found with stab wounds on her front lawn in 2021.
Kiefer later died at the hospital.
