A man was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being shot multiple times in Morrisania.

Police say the man was shot on Third Avenue near the corner of 167th Street around 1:30 a.m.

Emergency responders say that when they arrived at the scene, they found the victim - who News 12 is told is 21 years old - with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.

He was transported to St. Barnabas Medical Center and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
