A man was attacked and robbed in a Bronx subway station Thursday after refusing to buy "a swipe" onto the train, police said.

Investigators say it went down during the afternoon rush at the Prospect Avenue and Westchester Avenue station, on the 2 and 5 lines.

Police said two people approached the 29-year-old straphanger and tried to sell him a swipe. When he refused, a fight broke out.

One suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim on the nose, right hand and back, according to police. He was also stabbed in his left shoulder, and later robbed of $300.

Citizen app video shows a man speaking to police by a bicycle that was left on its side inside the subway stop.

Investigators later found the knife belief to have been used in the attack, dropped in the street while the suspects were making an escape.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics.
