Man sought for attacking MTA bus driver in Cypress Hills

The NYPD says the assailant threw a cup of coffee at a 53-year-old male driver on Oct. 17 just after 6:30 a.m.

Police are searching for a man who attacked an MTA bus driver in Cypress Hills.

The NYPD says the assailant threw a cup of coffee at a 53-year-old male driver on Oct. 17 just after 6:30 a.m.

The attack happened near Jamacia Avenue and Crescent Street after an argument between the driver and the man, who refused to pay his bus fare.

Police say EMS treated the driver at the scene for minor injuries.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
