Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man they say robbed a Chase Bank in Cobble Hill.
News 12 is told the suspect entered the bank Friday shortly after 5:30 p.m.
He first asked to speak to a manager, then he not only demanded money from a teller who attempted to assist him, but threatened to shoot in order to get behind the tellers' area.
He ran off from the Smith Street branch with close to $14,000.
Police say he last seen wearing a black hat that says "security" on it and a black t-shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
