A fire in Williamsburg left one person in the hospital with serious injuries on Tuesday night.

FDNY says the fire started on the fourth floor of the building just before 11:30 a.m.

The FDNY says a 42-year-old man jumped from a window for safety. Evidence of his fall was still seen Tuesday night outside his building.

As firefighters quelled the flames and began clearing the building, police say fire marshals then made a troubling discovery — suspicious devices found on the third floor, prompting the bomb squad to be called to the scene.

Officials have not confirmed what exactly the devices were or whether they contributed to the fire.

It was not immediately clear how many people, if any, were displaced by the fire.
