A man and woman are in hospital after pieces of concrete fell on them from a Bedford-Stuyvesant building.
Police say pieces of a damaged window frame at 125 Malcolm X Boulevard hit the victims on the head and leg. Scaffolding was put up to prevent future injuries and the building?s landlord was ordered to make repairs. Tenants say the landlord refuses to fix problems, telling them the work is too costly, but he still collects rent monthly.
The building has 15 open violations on record.
