A Brookyn filmmaker is set to premiere a short comedy at the Manhattan Film Festival this weekend.
Jason Cusato's "A Box Came to Brooklyn" will screen on Saturday. The 26-minute film was written, shot and edited in Brooklyn.
The underlying theme focuses on something near and dear to Brooklyn residents - gentrification.
Cuasto says he hopes this will be the first stop on a successful tour of film festivals around the country.
