A Marine Park singer is set to release her own solo album after first catching the nation's attention with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at the 2013 presidential inauguration.
Alicia Olatuja says her solo during the inauguration gave her new project momentum.
She recently debuted some of the songs off of her album "Timeless" at the BRIC performing art space in Fort Greene.
Olatuja has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. She is also in an Afro-jazz band named The Olatuja Project.
"Timeless" is available in stores and on iTunes.
