Just days after asking for support on finding space for asylum seekers, Mayor Eric Adams is visiting Washington, D.C. today to discuss the influx in the city among other growing concerns.

Over the weekend, Mayor Adams demanded that the federal government do more to respond to the growing crisis, especially for cities he says are overwhelmed.

He claims it's getting harder to make sure migrants have more than just a bed to sleep in and the resources they need to survive in society.

Adams is taking those concerns to the nation's capital where he's attending the American Conference of Mayors. Adams says he hopes city leaders will have conversations on unity about the crisis.
