Thousands gathered in Bensonhurst Park Tuesday morning to pray and celebrate with their loved ones. They even got a special visit from the mayor.
Eid al-Adha is considered one of the most important holidays in the Muslim community. But what really makes the celebration so special this year is the fact that the community is able to be around one another unlike last year due to COVID.
The community has been gathering in Bensonhurst Park for more than eight years.
