Mayor de Blasio: 5 concerts will be held across boroughs during August's Homecoming Week

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Thursday new additions will be coming to New York City’s Homecoming Week in August.
A concert in Central Park was previously announced as part of Homecoming Week, the city's Summer of NYC campaign to get more New Yorkers vaccinated.
"We're not satisfied with one concert in one borough. Surely, that is not enough. What we need is two major con- wait, three major- no, no. Four? Rocky, five? Is it possible to be five?," Mayor de Blasio says. "Five boroughs, five amazing concerts! Who would do such a thing? New York City would do such a thing."
The first concert will be in the Bronx at Orchard Beach on August 16. The rest of the week will have a concert in one borough a day.
