The New York Mets are in Kansas City after leaving Queens Sunday for the World Series, but hometown fans are getting ready, too.
Fans rallied in support of the Amazins in a sea of blue and orange in Kew Gardens, Queens.
Mr. Met and Cowbell Man were on hand for the festivities.
The Mets will take on the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of the series on Tuesday night. It will be the team's first World Series appearance in 15 years.
