The Library Plaza in Midwood unveiled its new renovations Tuesday.
Its new features were made possible through $250,000 of budgeting funds from Councilman David Greenfield.
They include a paved bluestone entrance, steel benches, bike racks and decorative paintings.
"This is one of the most popular libraries in Brooklyn and one of the most heavily utilized," Greenfield said. "This library serves seven public and nonpublic schools, plus a college plus literally thousands of people in the community so it's a great amenity."
