Parents of students at one Midwood elementary school are calling for the removal of the principal.
Parents rallied outside P.S. 193 Thursday in an effort to get the school's principal removed. They say Principal Tami Flynn is treating parents and students unfairly.
The parents are angry over the latest incident involving the arrest of Vinny Memorin, the man they call the 'mayor.' They say Memorin was charged with harassment and menacing after he tried to speak up for his child who was denied access to the bathroom.
The parents feel anyone who voices an opinion for their child is punished. They are also angry over the removal of the French program and several teachers.
Parents say they will not be happy until the school is given a new principal. They plan to voice their concerns at an upcoming meeting with the superintendent.
