News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says milder air returns to the tri-state area this week, but several weather systems will bring rain or even some wintry mix our way.
MONDAY - PRESIDENTS DAY: Mostly dry, with rain showers 2-7 p.m., moving from NW to SE. Highs will be in the 40s, lows will be around 32.
TUESDAY: Mostly dry with showers and a steady period of rain in spots after 3 p.m. Highs will be around 50.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the 40s.
THURSDAY: Morning mix to rain. Then, dry. Morning temperatures will be 32-37, rising to the 40s.
FRIDAY: A chilly wind and mostly cloudy. Early highs in the 40s, dropping during the evening.
SATURDAY: It looks like a snow/sleet/freezing rain mix turns to rain as the day goes on. Highs will be in the mid-30s.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. Likely dry. Highs 45-50.
