A Long Island military father gave his daughter the surprise of a lifetime over the weekend.
United State Air Force Tech Sgt. Anthony Legotti surprised his daughter Savannah Legotti during Longwood Jr. High School's eighth grade trip to Washington D.C.
As Savannah Legotti was posing for a picture with a classmate, her father photobombed them without his daughter noticing. Once the photo was done, the two saw each and hugged as onlookers applauded.
Sgt. Legotti has been serving for the past several months overseas as a combat arms instructor for pararescue.
He is also a military police officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and serves as a Suffolk County police officer.
