Millbrook School’s Trevor Zoo is a one-of-a-kind attraction that houses nearly a dozen endangered species, which makes it the perfect Road Trip: Close to Home.
All 180 unique animals at the zoo are under quality care thanks to the staff and students of the "living classroom."
"I really love animals and animal welfare, of course, so I'm hoping that past high school and college I can perhaps pursue a career where I can do this every day,” said student Hannah Coon.

"Trevor Zoo is a unique facility in that it's the only AZA-accredited - Association of Zoos and Aquariums - that is owned and operated by a boarding high school,” said zoo director Dr. Alan Tousignant.
Inside, people can explore the habitats of 80 different species from almost every continent.

It is also open for visitors any day of the year.
