Despite rising gas prices, the number of people expected to travel this Labor Day weekend is expected to rise 3 percent from last year.
According to this year?s AAA survey, 33 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more this weekend with the vast majority traveling by car.
Within the last month, the average price for a gallon of regular gas increased from $3.90 to $4.10.
