A mock crash
demonstration was held Friday at Fairfield Warde High School to illustrate the
dangers of drunk driving.
Juniors
and seniors watched as their fellow classmates acted out a scene where a night
of drinking and driving turned fatal.
It's
something Fairfield's high schools have done for more than a decade to warn of
the dangers of impaired driving ahead of prom and graduation season.
After
a hiatus because of the pandemic, the event returned.
First
responders came together to stress the importance of making good decisions,
saying just one bad decision could have lasting impacts.
Fairfield Ludlowe High School is expected to
have a mock crash demonstration on June 1.
