A young Brooklyn pastor gathered more than 100 people from around the borough Saturday to take part in a prayer walk.
Participants in the walk across the Brooklyn Bridge prayed for healing and help with issues facing the city, including poverty, gun violence, social injustice and housing issues.
Attendees walked side by side as they prayed, some holding signs high in the air to raise awareness.
Pastor Alex Williams says he hopes the prayers will help bring healing to the city and offer a spiritual moment for those who walked.
