5h agoA dance studio in Mott Haven is seeking support from the community to keep their business running.
Will I Dance studio provides affordable dance classes to children between the ages of 6 to 16. They charge $40 a month for classes that go on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday.
Founders Subira Williams and Asha Isaac say they always wanted to bring a dance studio that can serve Bronx families without breaking the bank.
“It's extremely important to bring dance to the community because we are not only teaching them how to dance but they're also learning problem solving skills for the real world,” said Williams.
The founders say the studio is struggling stay open. They encourage families seeking an affordable extracurricular activity for their children to look into their classes or support them through their GoFundMe.
