Brooklyn commuters will spend full price on mass transit now that the holiday season is over. Holiday discount MetroCards expire Tuesday and that means straphangers and bus riders will once again be paying $2 per ride. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority offered the half price discount after announcing the agency had a $1 billion budget surplus. Many riders say the half price rides were an incentive for commuters to use mass transit.
