Acting MTA Inspector General Elizabeth Keating announced Monday her office has opened an inquiry into why security cameras were not operating the day the Sunset Park mass shooting took place.
Keating says the work will include briefings on allegations and concerns pending under the office's jurisdiction.
Findings from the investigation will be announced once it is completed, adds Keating.
