The MTA is helping people get tested for COVID-19 by holding pop-up sites in seven subway stations across New York City Thursday.
The sites will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. except for New Year's Day.
The pop-ups are part of a state-funded program and will even include people visiting the city. The locations are in the Broadway Junction station, Penn Station, Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, East 180th Street in the Bronx and two are in Queens.
Officials say it's part of an effort to address the ongoing spike in cases and the shortage of testing available in the city.
Times Square and Grand Central will also be pop-up vaccination sites and will offer the Moderna vaccine and booster shots.
