Multiple shootings across borough hours after Independence Day

Police are investigating an early morning shooting that happened in Crown Heights.
Officials tell News 12 at least one person was shot at 412 Utica Ave. near Montgomery Street around 5 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found one person in cardiac arrest. There is no word yet on what led up to the shooting or who police are looking for.
Meanwhile, four Brooklyn residents are expected to survive after an overnight shooting.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. Thursday morning at 280 Herkimer St.
Officials say bullets struck three men and one woman.
People say no one saw the gunman getting away and police are currently looking for tips.
