A mural in the likeness of late actor Michael K. Williams was unveiled in Park Slope Saturday.
Now the hope is that those coming to the corner of Lafayette and South Portland Avenue that look at the mural will not only remember Williams' career, but his legacy throughout the community and the work that he did to keep his home close to his heart.
Williams' nephew, Arvance Williams, said his uncle loved Brooklyn and added that the community will continue his legacy of spreading love the way the actor did.
Williams' friend, Dana Rachlin, said his talent transcended the screen and that she will forever remember him for his humanitarian efforts and his fight for change.
