In New York and across the world, Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Adha, the second biggest holiday in Islam.
The holiday commemorates prophet Abraham’s faithfulness and obedience when he was commanded by God to sacrifice his son Ishmail.
Muslims in Brooklyn celebrated by visiting mosques, wearing colorful clothing, exchanging gifts, and taking off from school and work.
