A nanny is suspected in the stabbing deaths of two young children in her care at a Manhattan apartment.
According to police, the children's mother, Marina Krim, found her 2-year-old son Leo and her 6-year-old daughter Lucia stabbed to death in the bathtub when she returned home Thursday night.
Authorities say the nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, lay injured nearby with apparently self-inflicted stab wounds. She is hospitalized in critical condition.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says it's unclear how long the nanny had worked for the family.
