Nearly half of New Yorkers approve Mamdani’s first 100 days as mayor, polls shows

Marist Poll measured public opinion of Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s first 100 days among residents in the city.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani's first 100 days in office arriving soon. A new Marist Poll shows his approval rating from the public.

Out of those polled, 48% approve of the job he has done, 30% disapprove and 23% are undecided.

He is faring better with Brooklyn residents with 54% approving. In The Bronx, 45% approve of Mayor Mamdani.

When it comes to political party lines, the poll says that 63% of Democrats approve but only 23% of Republicans do.

The data in the poll also revealed that many perceive Mamdani to be hardworking and a good leader.

Nearly two in three people approved of how his administration handled the winter storm.

Mayor Mamdani is behind his predecessor, Eric Adams, who had a 61% approval rating within the first 100 days.
