A change to traffic flow is making drivers in Williamsbridge furious. Several two-way roads became one-way streets in just a matter of hours, and ticketed drivers unaware of the changes say they aren't happy. A few signs warned residents that Putnam Place, Perry Avenue, Hull Avenue, Decatur Avenue and East 211st Street would all become one-way roads effective yesterday, Aug. 16. Department of Transportation (DOT) officials say these conversions will simplify the traffic pattern and hopefully eliminate congestion. Many residents tell News 12 The Bronx that the only direction they'll be heading is straight to the traffic court.
