As News 12 continues coverage for NYC Restaurant Week, Ariapita in Flatbush is getting ready to serve Trinidadian delicacies for New York City eaters.
Alyssa Schmid, of NYC Tourism and Conventions, says that they are maximizing the event's time in 2023 to give more restaurants and diners an opportunity to participate.
Until Aug. 20, over 500 restaurants across the city are opening their doors to the special, prix fixe occasion. At Ariapita in Flatbush, you can try their three-course menu for just $45. One of their specialties is the stewed fish, which owner and chef, Chef Picky, claims is a fan-favorite. Picky says eating his food is like a taste of home.
