Students at the M.S. 267 campus celebrated their new community playground in Bedford-Stuyvesant Thursday.
The Trust for Public Land's NYC Playgrounds Program helped students design the green space. They partnered with the city to fund the $650,000 recreation area.
The space includes a new running track, a turf field, jungle gym, trees, basketball hoops and a garden.
Mary Alice Lee of the Trust for Public Land called it a "safe, beautiful space" for children to enjoy before and after school.
