A new exhibit opened Saturday in Coney Island to remember Steeplechase Park, which closed down about 50 years ago.
The exhibit, The Face of Steeplechase, contains old videos, photos and artifacts from both Steeplechase and Deno's Wonder Wheel, which was destroyed during Superstorm Sandy.
The head of the Coney Island History Project says even though the area has changed a lot over the years, many things have remained the same.
The exhibit is on West 12th Street near the boardwalk. It will be open until September. There is no price for admission.
