The city's decision to revamp bus routes in Brooklyn and the city continues to pose challenges for parents throughout Brooklyn and the city.
Just one week into the new bus route plan and parents have had just about enough. In Canarsie, a group of kids Friday waited more than one hour for a bus that never showed, forcing their parents to drive them to school. In some cases, parents say their kids have had to miss school because of no transportation. City officials apologized Thursday for the glitches attached to the new routes and vowed to fix the problems.
Parents say they are not hopeful that things will be resolved. City officials say anyone having problems should call 311 or the city's transportation hotline at 718-482-3700.
