New security measures are in place on the Brooklyn Bridge following two high-profile breaches. 

The city installed barriers to prevent anyone from climbing to the top of the landmark. 

Both American flags at the top of the bridge were swapped with bleached-out flags back in July. Two German artists claimed responsibility for the stunt, but so far have not been charged. 

Just last month, a Russian tourist scaled the bridge. Police waited for him to come down and immediately arrested him.
