Throgs Neck residents are buzzing about a new shopping center that is slated to open this summer.
The 285,000 square-foot center set to open in Ferry Point at the end of July will feature a variety of shops and restaurants.
Stores making a home in the 2-level complex include T.J. Maxx, Target, Petco, Famous Footwear, Sleepy's, Viva Movil by Jennifer Lopez, Applebee's, Five Guys and Metro Optics Eyewear.
The shopping center will include free parking for more than 600 cars.
Some residents in the area are concerned about traffic problems that the new shopping center may bring.
