New signs have been installed at a dangerous intersection in the Country Club section of The Bronx. As News 12 The Bronx has reported, two accidents happened in just two days this week at Kennelworth Place and Spencer Drive. On Monday, a car drove through a stop sign and plowed into another vehicle, pushing it into someone's yard and knocking down a stop sign. Less than 24 hours later, another crash happened at the same spot, leaving one person injured. News 12 The Bronx contacted City Councilman James Vacca, who reached out to the city's Department of Transportation (DOT). DOT crews quickly installed a new stop sign at the intersection, plus a "stop ahead" sign in front of it.
