The New York Botanical Garden’s train show is back in full force this year for its 30th annual event. 

Last year’s holiday train show was only open to members because of the pandemic, but this year it’s back open to the public at full capacity. 

Proof of vaccination and masks are required once you’re inside. 

Step into a winter wonderland, from the Wonder Wheel in Coney Island to the old Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. 

Those who attend will follow over 25 trains across the seven bridges and winding tunnels of nearly a half-mile of track through the five boroughs--with stops at Penn and Grand Central stations. 

They also showcase over 190 replicas of New York City landmarks, all crafted with plant parts, from Radio City Music Hall to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. 

"The goal of the train show is to give our visitors the most perfectly curated tour of New York City. We have a tribute to New York City's greenspaces where we bring together the landmarks of the New York Botanical Garden and some of our favorite landmarks and whimsical structures from Central Park,” said interim head of exhibitions Joanna Gorarke. 

The holiday train show is open from Nov. 20 through Jan. 23.

They recommend that you purchase timed-entry tickets ahead of time online because tickets sell out quickly.
