The New York Botanical Garden's Orchid Show returns for its 22nd year.
"It's a tribute to the modernist principles of Architect Luis Barragan, as well as the beauty of orchids, as one of the most diverse and absolutely gorgeous plants," said Joanna Groarke, vice president of Exhibitions and Programming for the New York Botanical Garden.
The theme is Mexican modernism, an ode to Mexican architect Luis Barragan.
The show hosts thousands of vibrant orchids displayed across 11 galleries.
"Everything from deserts to rainforests, in which we tell the story of orchids, their biology, and how they grow in nature," said Marc Hachadourian, senior orchid curator.
On select Saturday's NYBG hosts Orchid Nights, an evening adult experience with a bar, DJ and cultural dancing. These events are for those aged 21 and over.
The "Orchid Show" runs until April 27.
