A News 12 story on a shower hole has helped some renters see repairs.
A Brownsville family had been living with a gaping hole in the bathroom of their apartment at the Ralph Avenue Houses since June.
They had covered it with garbage bags and duct tape, and called NYCHA dozens of time, but didn't receive any help.
One member of the Butler family wrote a note saying, "Thank you again News 12 Brooklyn for helping my family and I to shower properly."
