This week with the whole family. We have just the thing for you for helping you out. And Disney on Ice, it's back at Barclay Center this morning. Our news 12 Graham. She is there getting a behind the scenes. Look at all the fun. What you up to now? Faith. Yeah. Good morning Chris. And that's right. We are still here at Barclays Center getting a behind the scenes. Look at all things Disney on Ice. Last hour we were showing you some of the costumes that all the performers will be wearing this weekend. They have so many shows planned and all these performances. And right now we are getting a look at all the props because while these things might just look like items from what I've learned from. And one of the performers, they really all tell a story and they help to get this theme across. So we are just going to get right into it. This one caught my eye. It looks pretty good. I think you think we can lift it. I think we, we do it together. Yeah, absolutely. So it looks like a weight if you want to explain a little bit about the needle. This is from our Encanto segment. So we have Luisa that is super strong so she can lift it by herself. But I need a little bit of help because it is heavy. I do too. And then we have some more props. So all these items helps us bring the magic to life. So we have, for example, in summer it could get really hot. So then we have all our favorite fruit punch. And then we also it's nice with some cooling ice and frozen. You know, I just want to take a sip out of this. Unfortunately, it's not real, but it looks, it looks really good. And then uh we have our tango segment where Rapunzel is singing along with all the thugs about all their dream and stuff. So then we have this wonderful frying pan and we have a bunch of them out there on the ice to also bring that energy. And then we have, there's never a dull moment in the tavern where we're singing along and dancing and Gaston is telling everyone about how talented he is. So we all are there dancing, singing, having a great time. And then of course, we have also from Encanto. This is part of um the same. Remember Luisa is showing all her powers and how she brings everything to life with all the flowers and with a little bit of sister magic. And if it could happen, beautiful, I love it. And, um, you guys are having about seven performances this entire weekend. Right. Yes, exactly. And there's still, uh, more tickets at disney.com so you can come and see the show. Yes, guys. Right. And as you know, it seems like we are having a snowy weekend, it's going to be cold. If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids, there is just so much to learn here as we learned. Really, every piece of this show really just tells the story and spreads that the. So families, maybe you're looking for something fun to do this weekend in Brooklyn Disney on Ice. It's back at Barclays Center. It sure is. And this morning news Well's Faith Graham is getting behind the scenes. Look, hopefully she's on skates at all. The work that goes into, you know, pulling off a show like this. So Faith Good morning. Have you seen Elsa Good Morning, Chris? I haven't seen just yet, but I have to of the costumes that these performers will be wearing. This is a huge moment. Disney on Ice is back here at Barclay Center and from now to Sunday, there are seven shows. There's still tickets available. So there are more than enough opportunities for you to come out here with your family this weekend and we will lot in store for you this morning. Joining me now is one of the performers and she is here to tell us a little bit about what is planned for this year's performance. Tell me a little bit about the theme that was selected for this year. So our show is called Find Your Hero, which is so amazing. You get to follow so many of our Disney favorites throughout the journey to find own heroes. So I'm gonna tell you a little about our, our costumes right here. So in the beginning of the show, we have all these rock star that comes out and they get the party started. So everyone gets up and dance and have a great time. And then we have from our uh beaut and Beast segment. We have a flirt costume and it's part where we have these flirty girls that try to impress Gaston, but he's too busy to pay attention to Bell. And then we of course, have frozen on our show. So we have this beautiful, beautiful costume from when all of us dreaming about summer and sun and all things hot. And then we actually have these really cool costumes, which is part of our new segment that's called Encanto. And we have Isabella that's trying out her new powers and finding her ways with all the flowers and all the excitement that brings the family together and tell me a little bit about the behind the scenes. The book goes into selecting all of these costumes to tell the story. So everyone has around six different costumes throughout the show. So it's part of like bringing everything to come to life on the ice. And so you get to see so many different um costumes and different numbers and so much energy and so much sparkles. That's kind of why I love this costume. Because there's so many sparkles and glitter and it just makes it come to life all of it. And I understand I'm going to get to try one on. Is that right? It wouldn't be a visit to the Barclay Center without trying on something for Disney on ice. So we'll just try to put this on really quickly. So if you do decide to buy tickets, which they are still available, you'll get to see the performers wearing something like this.
