News 12's the Next Normal debut Wednesday night featured two doctors who fielded questions from viewers about vaccines and COVID-19 variants.
Mayor Bill de Blasio says more than half of COVID-19 cases in New York City are variants.
Dr. Stephanie Sterling, of NYU Langone Hospital, said during the show that because of variants it's important to vaccinate as many people as possible to help decrease the pool of people that can be infected.
The Next Normal will air for the next two weeks, and highlight important aspects of life after COVID-19.
