The state attorney general released footage from body-worn and surveillance cameras showing a police-involved fatal shooting earlier this year at a motel along Route 1 in Monmouth Junction.
The suspect, previously identified as 41-year-old Shamar Leggette, of Brooklyn, was killed in the shootout.
Several officers attempted to arrest Leggette on Jan. 24. He was wanted in connection with several felony investigations, including the robbery of the now convicted "Bling Bishop" Lamor Whitehead.
In the video, Leggette is seen walking out of a motel room holding what appears to be two handguns. He then fired at the officers. Police then fired back at the suspect. Leggette was pronounced dead two hours after the shootout.
No officers were hit during the shooting.
